Oberon has been around for awhile (as early as the 13th century) and has appeared in several works of literature in the past 800 years, including Shakespeare's "Midsummer Night's Dream" and the "Sandman" comics. As such, I'm sure that there are also several different interpretations of his clothing. Or no clothes at all (see the painting by Johann Heinrich Füssli). I would suggest a google image search. If you're going for the Shakespearian look, he'd probably wear something similar to a fancy Elizabethan costume.

What a delightful question! over the years, the look of Oberon has been interpreted many different tactics, so it somewhat is totally as much as you. i don't comprehend if Shakespeare mentions something approximately his dress interior the play. i comprehend I examine a toddler's e book as quickly as and the youngsters acted out the play and that that they had Oberon with antlers on his head and a lifeless-white face. a technique or the different i see Oberon in sort of tatty, yet grand trailing robes. i don't think of you have picked an difficulty-free undertaking.

Although Oberon was not created by Shakespeare, he appeared in A Midsummer's Night Dream. Go to the web-site of several Shakespeare festival companies and see if they have pictures of the work of their costume designers available. Use one of these to inspire you. If you have a good drama section in your library, check it out as well.

He would wear a loin cloth of leaves, and a long cape made of leaves, and be bare foot and shirtless. He'd also carry a really cool sceptre made of a twisting branch, all polished, and maybe a crown of leaves and acorns, and perhaps wear an acorn around his neck. Red autumn leaves would look particularly cool!
Generally he'd look very foresty and regal fairy-ish!
