Edit: No I dont believe they are, Im just saying that is the current line of bull we are being fed.
The real job is setting up a puppet government who will do what we say so we can dictate the sale of the oil in 20-30 years when we need it.

The Administration-advertised job is well known to others, even though it is very confusing to everybody as the stated goal has always shifted depending on to what degree they have been caught telling lies.

The real jo that needs to be done, which remains undeclared, are the following:
1) Remove the greatest threat : Done, Saddam killed.
2) Build the pipeline to funnel oil/profit to the oil companies: Work in Progress
3) Expand Moshe Dayan's Vision of Expanding Israel to Euphrates River as dictated by the his holy book: Work in Progress

Here's a simple exchange between a father and son, written, not spoken. It will tell you why the US is there, and you have to deduce when the job will be done.

in some unspecified time interior the destiny, we are able to pull out. no count if it relatively is in 2009 or 2013 or 2030 won't make a difference. the easy certainty is that we blundered the profession from day one. in spite of your ideas relating to the conflict, we did no longer take the mandatory steps to intelligently reconstruct the rustic. on the instant, we've 3 ideas -- none of them appropriate. the 1st is to renowned that we would desire to continually no longer have had national elections first and to sack the full Iraqi parliament and initiate over from scratch with close by elections. of direction, having enable the extremely some factions arm themselves, such an action might probable convey approximately unconventional war against us with the aid of all Iraqi political events. the 2d is to proceed preserving the Shiite majority who at the instant runs issues indefinitely until all factors can attain an contract on the thank you to run issues. of direction, preserving the traditional public team indefinitely eliminates the inducement for the Iraqi government to negotiate with the Kurds and Sunnis considering the fact that we are able to be doing their grimy artwork of defeating the militia of the Kurds and Sunnis. The 0.33 determination is a phased withdrawal. this option makes us susceptible to unconventional war and creates the real possiblity of a civil conflict as quickly as we are long gone. in spite of the undeniable fact that, it additionally creates an incentive for the climate to peacefully p.c. their adjustments merely before our departure. provided that the Iraq conflict is tying our militia down in Iraq, stretching our militia ingredients to the snapping element, and costing us billions each and each month, the 0.33 determination looks the perfect for our long-term interests. it is not, in spite of the undeniable fact that, going to be especially. At this element, my very own advice could be a phased withdrawal with the certainty that, if progression is being made in direction of particular benchmarks with the aid of the Iraqi government, the timetable might desire to be stretched to furnish Iraq extra time to attain all that they nevertheless might desire to.

When the Iraqi Government can handle the country, we will leave.
