the reason you got viruses was because you werent looking up the bitzi file of the program.

before you dowload the program, right click on it and go down to 'advance' and there will be an arrow and another menu and then click on 'look up bitzi file' and this will tell you if the program has a virus or not.

You need to check out http://gomusic.ru - you can download songs for as little as 13 cents or less.

That's an entire album for just a little over a dollar. Only down-side is you can't find as large of a selection.

Napster and Itunes have the biggest selection of music but cost the most out of all the services.

Yahoo, Rhapsody, and Walmart have less expensive songs/albums but also have less of a selection.

As far as downloading, if you decide to illegally download, I'd suggest using Soulseek for those really hard to find songs because there are a lot of "independant" artists on Soulseek so many songs are NOT illegal to download. Keep in mind, most major songs are protected by the RIAA.

I hope this helps!

I use Limewire with no problems. You will have to pay for individual songs otherwise. Good Luck finding another way :). & Happy New Year!
