I am reposting a question that was just deleted, and YAHOO - if this is deleted again I demand an IMMEDIATE explanation by a living human being as to WHY it was deleted.

QUESTION: How can you respect a world leader who speaks with such poor language skills as these:

"Oftentimes, we live in a processed world, you know, people focus on the process and not results."

"The law I sign today directs new funds... to the task of collecting vital intelligence... on weapons of mass production."

"It will take time to restore chaos and order."

"They have miscalculated me as a leader."

"Natural gas is hemispheric... because it is a product that we can find in our neighborhoods."

"I am mindful not only of preserving executive powers for myself, but for predecessors as well."

"We need an energy bill that encourages consumption."

"One has a stronger hand when there's more people playing your same cards."

"Rarely is the question asked, is our children learning"

Hey....real intelligent response, "tough guy."

No, "Rich B," Dubya doesn't "appear" dumb intentionally; he's the real article.

And to those who take offense at this question, YES I realize that we could easily have someone with excellent language skills who was totally dishonest and evil.

I'm just in awe of a cracker who could impress so many people with his "aw shucks" demeanor.

Bush doesn't even compare in integrity to Jack Kennedy.

"Onelight" Ohhhh, no! "Disrespect our president" Could such a thing be allowed by the Constitution???

I think Bush's language skills are appropriate to his intellectual level. You don't expect someone who's as mentally deficient as Bush to have a developed grasp of the english language... or anything else.

I mean, the guy is a puppet president, but you would really expect that they'd pick a puppet with a basic skill set.

Well to be honest, nobody ever said you had to respect him or his language skills. Through out our nation's history president's have been ridiculed for using poor grammar. I mean look at Dan Quayle the former VP. The guy couldn't even spell potato. And I am sure as you look further back you will find more issues with grammar but in the big picture does it really matter?I am sure he has much more things to worry about than how he speaks, but after all we as a nation did re-elect him so what does that tell you?

Allow me to explain something to you. As a southern boy myself, I can in fact tell you that it is an act. People tend to do and say things in your presence with less inhibitions if they believe you are slow, ignorant or not paying attention.

I'm shocked more intelligent people have not picked up on this. The old "Dumb Southern Boy" routine is older than folded paper napkins.

Edit:

Again, your opinion. And that's fine. It is no more or less valid than mine though.

And don't mistake your Constitutionally granted freedom of speech to reach all the way onto Yahoo. They pay the bandwidth costs, one must live by their rules here. The control the speech to a degree.

These are just quotes from our fearless leader. What's wrong with the question? It just points out that Bush is a moron and imbecile who can't speak and needs to enroll in a community college course in public speaking. You must have offended a Bush lover.

I'm most definately wondering that same thing. This (among other things) should be highly considered when voting for future leaders! Try to block out some of the "high priority" issues like abortion, taxes and the homeless that we are bombarded with at election time and concentrate on what grades did they get in school, could they pass the Iowa Basics test ??? etc....

To comment first . . . I am replying to your question by my own CHOICE . . . not because you stated that you " Demand and IMMEDIATE answer ".

My answer, which you can take as you wish is this . . .

Possibly the site removed your question as it was expressed in disrespect to our countries President.

Do we have free speech ? Absolutely. It's our right and privilage. Yet with those rights and privilages comes responsibility.

You have the privilage to drive a car, yet also have the responsibility to drive safely and also not blast the radio for others to hear around you. Rights, privilages and responsibilities.

By you posting your personal thoughts of our President, which may or may no be agreed with by others, you put your voice of free speech in the minds of others.

A foundation of banding together to support the greater is weakened by words such as yours.

Others might read your words and think...' Oh yah, our President does do such and such . . . I'm going to grumble and get others to grumble also.' Thus the foundation weakens more.

To publicly voice on important issues...yes. But on his manner of speech..that is a foundation weakening issue.

Remember what was discovered about the late President Reagan...that at the end of his time as president Alzeimers was setting in...we did not discover this till he was out of office.

How do we know what may or may not be going on with this President.

Whether this is the case or not...to create discomforting thoughts in the minds of others as a public postings as yours adds to the weakening of a sought after solid foundation.

Want to post words as those? Than do so to your local political fitures in office or to other ranks of politations in Washington.

It is weak and unproductive in as site as this.

By the way . . . does his manner of speech make me gringe? Yes. Yet not the point where I feel he is putting our country in harms way or where I would post as you had on a public as this.

. . . . .

Just this womans opinion . . . since you posted a general question out there for any to answer.

Peace to you.
.

Geez, I guess you would have been really disappointed in that tall lanky president Abe Lincoln, too. He was just a country bumpkin at heart, yet he did great thing for this country.
And besides, I would rather have a president who is not the best public speaker yet protects us from the savage at the gate than a great orator like Clinton who ignored terrorism until it finally cost us 3000 dead Americans on 9/11.

Maybe you should take into account that he has someone ( just like EVERY other politician) write his speeches for him.
He IS not a professional speaker and he IS from Texas.

This should be deleted for your rude and obviously oblivious behavior

You're right. Jacques Chirac, Vladimir Putin and Hamid Karzai all speak better English than G.W. Hell, Ozzy Osbourne is easier to understand.
