I would watch what the people living around you are doing--are they drinking the tap water? are they using it to brush their teeth? If you are usually sensitive to things (ie rash easily, severe allergies) I would try to avoid it. I lived in Spain for 10 months and I'm a very sensitive type of person, I'm sure that in 10 months I probably got water in my eye sometime and I never had any problems. PS--my host family did not drink the tap water
Also sorry that I'm rambling

Yes, there is very good water here :) ... though it's always smart to use your own good judgement and look before you drink the water or "let it in your eyes."
