College... absolutely not.

High school... debatable. I'd have to see the data as to whether uniforms actually reduces peer pressure and enhances focus on academics. Personally, I don't think it really makes a difference... if they don't peer pressure you on clothes, they'll peer pressure you one something else.

Yeah, umm, I'm a high school student, and I think that we should have some sort of dress code (like, the girls who are wearing belly shirts and mini skirts... yeah, I really don't need to see that) However my school has a policy against flip flops and that one I just don't understand. They say that it's for safety reasons, but almost every person in my school has fallen up our stairs in sneakers (yes, up. my school has really strange stairs). So what difference will flip flops make?

Dress codes have their place to keep school a place of learning and not oggling. But some of them go a bit too far.

ummmm maybe. like spagetti straps r not allowed! so what if it shows grls bra strap! but sum grls mini skirts r 2 short. but den long skirts r hecka ugly..

YES. BECAUSE THE KIDS WOULDN'T HAVE TO BUY THESE $100.00 JEANS. ALL THE NAMED BRAND STORES SUCH AS HOLISTER, A.F. AND ALL OTHER NAME BRANDS OF SHOES AND CLOTHES. THEY WILL NOT HAVE THE PEER PRESSURE.
