Where is it more enjoyable? Beaches of Southern Florida or beaches of Southern California?

Waters off So Fla beaches are usually warm. Calif waters are usually cold and polluted. I especially like ocean side of Fla. Lots of people prefer the calmer side of the Gulf waters.

Definitely Florida if you just want sun and the ocean. First of all, you can actually find parking at the beach in Florida. The Gulf side is best, the water is so beautifully blue and peaceful. On the Atlantic side, there are reefs where you can scuba and snorkel and see lots beautiful sea life.
If you like to surf, though, Cali is much better.
