If a player knocks in to him he might go over. Fair enough in my opinion. Its not footplayer.. its football - kick the ball not the player. Why should he allow players to try and physically stop him illegally ?
Occasionally I admit he has pushed it too far... falling on very little or even non-existant contact... but more often that not I think he is fouled when he goes to ground.
Rooney made his own bed in the WC... and he knows it. Kicking the guy in the goolies. Rooney was frustrated cause of Sven's tactics imo... playing him all alone up front without much support and expecting him to take on 2 midfielders and 4 defenders all by himself.

It seems to be the style of the contininetal player these days, go near them with a feather and they roll around the floor in agony. Football has been spoilt by too much money in it these days, the rewards are great so teams will stop at nothing to win again, even if it means getting a fellow professional red carded by their antics

Are you trying to incite an argument?
You hate what he did to Rooney. Do you think CR and millions of us liked what Rooney did to Carvalho? Also, at the World Cup, didn't Rooney push Cristiano? Why not ask: Why is Rooney so violent? Lastly, please stop calling CR a "diver" and a "cheat". He is neither! You probably envy the fact that he is way better than Rooney will ever be!

because he's and idoit, not taught by the english football system and plays for Man U, say's it all i think, he could become a great player but he wont if he continues to dive, and if i was rooney i would refuse to play with him after what he done in the world cup.

Well soccer has changed significantly over the past yeard with players cheating the game by diving and such. Ronaldo as skilled as he is dives to get that foul and not loose possesion of the ball. Since he is well known around the world refs would give him the call. But soccer needs to rid of this cheating to make the game more original and enjoyable to watch

that was very cheap what he did to rooney. he has great dribbling skills and should be able to do some moves with the ball. he dives a lot and i think refs are starting to notice it a bit. he dives so his team can get free kicks and penalty shots and to get the other team yellow cards. sometimes if the refs notice when u dive they will giv u a yellow card.

he used 2 dive not any more, so the real question is why did Cristiano Ronaldo dive!!! any way we can't really tell why he dived we an only predict, he has reasons and the only way 2 find out is 2 ask him and well thats probably not gona happen so basically we probably won't find out!!

He would get injured in those hard tackles if he did not dive otherwise he would spend more time in the physio than actually playing.
