to find the perimeter obtain the root of the area
which would be the root of 36 which equals 6
therefore the perimeter would be 4 x 6 = 24

one third of 24 = 24 divided by 3 = 8 units

How do you get 8 units? I am just curious since i have forgotten some of my math over the years.

I would have said 12.
