The other answers are correct in that the " flat head" Harley has not been manufactured since the 1950's (45, K model line). However, since it seems that you are not overly knowledgeable about this it is possible someone stuffed a flat head into a later frame (Why I would have no idea), and they made 45 cubic inch, 74 and 80 inch flat heads.....the 45 was a W engine series, the 74 an F series and the 80 inc her a U engine series, which should be part of the engine number. Harley also had the FL and EL " knuckle head " which was an over head valve engine. That is about as far as I can take you on " Flat Head " motors and old Harley's.

They haven't built flatheads in 50 years, so I guess the FIRST thing you SHOULD'VE watched for was someone selling ya a bill of goods.
That said, what type of flathead? 45 ci, 80ci, K model? What?
You need to specify, rather than generalize if you want specific answers.
