I had unprotected test this last wednesday......can a pregnancy test tell me for sure if I am pregnant? I stood up and went to the loo right after we did it.

I have heard there are some new home tests on the market that can be used as soon as 2 weeks after the incident but the usual rule of thumb is to test once you have missed a menstral cycle

wait until you are at least a week late for your period. then take the test first thing in the am when hcg levels are highest. this still is not a guarantee you aren't pregnant. you're body will let you know. you may still miss your period just from being stressed out over thinking you may be pregnant so you may need to repeat the test more than once.

Using the bathroom won't stop you from being pregnant. If the sperm is there, it's not coming out. You can try a pharmacy's early response test, but you should repeat the test every few days in case it is too early to tell.

First of all to answer your question you need to wait till you actually miss your cycle, or at lest 5 days before you are supposed to start.
Now for a comment standing up and going potty doesn’t prevent pregnancy. If you are worried and don’t want to end up prego then you either need to practice a lot safer sex or not have any.

It would be to early to tell at this point. You have to wait a couple of weeks. And it wouldn't matter if you went to the bathroom. Urine coming out and Sperm going in are two different holes.

You wait until you're late for your period. Thats the best time to test. Not before.

its to early to tell right now you have to take it when you are late for your period.. but when the time comes it best to do it in the morning

u can go to the dr. and they can do a blood test
