Bleeding is not just a sign of pregnancy and bleeding two weeks after your period ended usually wouldn’t indicate pregnancy because this is the time ovulation takes place and the bleeding you heard about (called implantation) occurs 5-12 weeks after ovulation i.e. about 7 days prior to your next period.

This is of course if your periods are regular and your cycle lasts around 28-30 days.

Nobody but a gynecologist can say what the bleeding you experienced was. It could have been something transient but it could be also indicting an underlying problem like an infection maybe.

I suppose you are not using condoms and if this is the case, you are at big risk of catching an infection that could cause permanent scarring if not treated in time.

Another possible reason of such bleeding could be ovarian cysts that may form during ovulation. These cysts are harmless most of the time and subside on their own but in the meantime they can cause bleeding, interfere with your periods and cause pain.

If you experience unexplained bleeding one again, I would suggest you saw a doctor.

Even though you said you never missed a pill, were you late taking them? Did you forget one day and take it the next with your other one? That may cause you to spot, it has me. It is possible to get pregnant on the pill. Other than taking it late I'm not sure since you've been on it for 2 years. The first brand of pill I took made me bleed between periods so I switched and have been on this one for 4 years and only spot or bleed a little when I'm late taking it(miss a couple days then take them when I remember). Good luck. Ask your doctor if you keep spotting like that.

I agree with previous answer it can mean you need to change your dosage and discuss it all with your ob/gyn. You need to write down everything you have experienced.
You can also get implantation bleeding but once you explain this all to your doctor they will probably recommend a pregnancy test to be sure. Blood test for pregnancy is the most accurate.
Nothing in life is 100% so that is why people do get pregnant on the pill.

You are probably needing a different prescription and probably are not pregnant. :(you know there are no gaurantees, but you probably just have some break through bleeding). You do need to let your doctor know. There are other reasons that can cause this: you could have been taking antibiotics for another problem and they made your pills inaffective. OR, your diet could account for it as well.

Whatever the reason, you do need to make an appt to get it checked out.

If you are on the pill, then you are not having unprotected sex. If you spot while on the pill but are taking it correctly, it probably means that your dosage needs have changed and you might need a different pill with different hormonal levels.

break through bleeding. Happens all the time. Usualy it means your dosage needs have changed and you need to see your OBGYN to have it readjusted.
