Most schools are closed simply for the New Year's holiday. Most government offices will be closed for the mourning of Ford but Banks and other similiar businnesses will remain open.

Here in NC the mail carriers will be off and all the banks will be closed. January 2nd will be considered a federal holiday. If the schools in your area closed in observance of federal holidays then yes they will close. Not sure if there was enough notice for it to be posted on websites already.

It varies from financial business enterprise to financial business enterprise and city to city. you extremely need to make certain with the financial business enterprise on your guy or woman city. Federal places of work would be closed (such as a results of fact the submit place of work) as a results of fact it somewhat is been declared to be a nationwide Day of Mourning. some state, county, and city places of work would be closed -- yet not all.
