everyone in the place breathing on the food, handling the serving utensils, if they are talking by the food chances are some of their spit is flying into the food. Its just nasty and is comparable to pigs gorging themselves, don't you think

I'd think the buffet would be cleaner, but I know what you are saying. I also can't stand it when people drop one kind of food in the other food tray .. sometimes thats gross .. oink ..lol

Buffets are gross but people like them because most are unlimited in the amount of food you consume. As for the pigs, i would have to side with the ' Pig' because they dont have a human mind that can make rational decisions!

buffets are just disgusting I NEVER go to buffets but had no choice a couple months ago when some family was in for a funeral and (surprise!) I was driving with them in their car and we went to World Buffet. I was ill just being there, the food was not hot enough, and we had to tell them to turn up the steamtable temp, it was disgusting I could not wait to get out of there.

it depends you have to go to the buffet that has the glass window over the food i call it the spit guard :)
