Is it:
1. A ghoulish fascination with dead things?
2. They're seeking some twisted psychosexual thrill?
3. They're weak, frightened, little people who haven't the stomach to kill a mouse on their own, but feel a vicarious sense of power by associating themselves with those who actually carried out the execution?
"Proof" is not a valid answer, it is an obvious excuse intended to mask some other sick motivation. There is ample proof (eyewitness accounts and a body) that the execution was, indeed, carried out.

Well it certainly shows how far we have come as a society. Bloodlust and killing is still entertainment like in the roman times. Humanity is a myth nowadays. If there is a god up there somewhere he is probably pretty sad and angry.

Before you accuse people of being crazy and wanting to see him being hanged, think about how people used to be punished. Whole towns would gather to see people get hanged. Nowadays, it rarely happens, and when it does happen to such a largely-known human rights criminal, people want to see again.
Also, another possible reason is that some want his death video so they know he's dead....we all know how corrupt today's world is.

Some people just need to see it to believe it. I'm sure all of the family members of his victims needed to see him hanging there to believe it themselves. Some people need that type of closure. Some people are just so cynical they don't believe much of what the media offers up without seeing it for themselves.

I have never seen a hanging. It would be an excellent opportunity to do so. And not a whiff of "is he or isn't he guilty" They still should show it. My goodness, if its so natural to have an interest in sex, as most modern Americans do, why is it so wrong to have a curiosity about one persons death? I see nothing odd about my curiosity.

A lot of people feel that he is responsible for the lost of their family and friends, therefore they want to see him suffer. It's a basic human instinct.

They've come to expect everything to be available for them to watch, compliments of all the "reality" tv shows and the papparazzi who think they have the right and responsibility to put everything onto film and video.

I asked my husband the same thing as he was trying so desperatly to watch the hanging himself. He said it's because he wouldn't believe it until he saw it.
