Circulatory, digestive, and respiratory will be used though all the body's systems work together to maintain a balance. If a person is running from trouble they need a mechanism to get fuel to create energy and a way to eliminate the waste products generated by this process. The circulatory system will carry the raw materials needed to produce the energy from the small intestine (digestive system) to the cells of the muscles. It will also carry oxygen to these cells from the alveoli of the lings (respiratory system). The cells will produce ATP and carbon dioxide from this material. The blood will carry the carbon dioxide back to the lungs for elimination. As the person continues to run these systems continue to carry out their jobs making sure that the person can maintain the state needed to complete the task. Once the person stops these systems will slowly return to their normal levels allowing the person to carry on their normal function without harm.
