This depends on the fish. If the fish is a carnivore then you can certainly feed them roast beef. In fact beef heart is often used as a food for meat eating fish.

Why stop at roast beef?? give them a bit of your sausage once in a while im sure they`d appreciate that!.Unless there gonna find a cooked cow in the bottom of the deep blue sea i dont see why you should feed them any different to what they would normally get in their natural habitat

Why would you want to feed them roast beef

Yes you can feed them roast beef but not all of the time. It needs to be a once in a while treat. If you feed that to them all of the time it will probably make them blow up. But, like I said it is ok as a once in a while treat.

Why would you want to? What kind of tropical fish? Generally no. Don't put any raw meat in there and they wouldn't be able to bite off cooked meat sine most lack real teeth at the front of the mouth. If you want to give them a treat give them green veggies, frozen or live food from the aquarium store. For tropicals, look for brine shrimp, blood worms or white worms in particular.

Definitely not! This type of food causes a build up of fatty tissue around the fish's heart & liver, & shortens it's life.

They prefer raw meat but will still probably go for cooked meat too. Roast beef should be ok - without horseradish!!
