They operate Boeing 777 & Airbus A330 from LGW. Both are similar size but I think the B777 is a better aircraft.

We flew Emirate's last year.
Naturally not being the wealthiest couple in Uk we had to sit with the rest of the crowd all packed like Sardines. The seats were quite small and i must say i was not to impressed with the way the plane looked around that area. Some of the seats were torn and it scared me. But the flight went well and we got to Dubai safely. The coffee at Dubai Airport was the best but they charged us something like three pounds ninety pence per cup. But it was good. Enjoy your flight, have a safe one and return safely as well. Happy New Year to you. Ohh by the way, the food was quite tasty and they do supply you with loads of water [ then] don't know about now. They were also very friendly and kind.

It'll either be an Airbus (A330 or A340) or a Boeing 777 as these are the only three aircraft makes they operate at the moment. The new A380 superjumbo isn't due to enter service until 2008.

With any luck, it'll be the pilot, not you flying the plane....!
My parents flew out from there on a 340, if that helps?!

do not ignore that the earth strikes. The earth spins in one direction etc one journey the plane would be 'chasing the earth', because it have been and on the different the plane would be flying because of the fact the earth spins 'in the direction of' it making it a swifter journey.
