I have had only 2 boyfriends in my life, both for 2 years each, and now its been 5 years since I had a boyfriend. I really feel that love was not meant for me...........Do you believe in destiny and fate??

Being alone really isn't that bad, at least it tells me that your a person that knows what you want and that your patient enough to wait for that special someone to come along. It also tells me that you are more aware of your surroundings then the people who are preoccupied in being into relationships after relationships. I know some people will disagree with that statement, but as long as your content with it, then thats super. I know many people that "NEEDS" to be in a relationship and to me thats dangerous!!! You have my blessings for not being in a hurry. To me, whoever you find will have a great person in THEIR LIFE, only 2 boyfriends is great and plus you already can live alone if need be!

We are wired to want a mate or companion. If we didn't need one or want one God wouldn't have wired us that way. That being said, I think that it is a choice that some people make and there is nothing wrong with it at all. I am 48, I have a boyfriend that I have been with off and on for over twenty years. He works offshore so I have the best of both worlds. I have my solitary time for two weeks while he works and then my time with him when he is home. I would not be devastated if I were to end up alone. I am alone quite often but I am never lonely. I have many friends, my son and his wife, my dog, and my co-workers as well as my church family. I guess if you look at it from that angle you are never truly alone in the world unless you completely isolate yourself from society. There is nothing wrong with being alone and I think that a person can live a happy and productive life alone. I do not think that we are destined to be alone though. I think that we make our own destiny. So, decide what you want in life and go for it either with someone or without.

Don't worry about having a boyfriend, get out and about and enjoy yourself,someone will come along,you should be confiding in your friends to give you some advice,they might have the answers.

I believe that you have to be okay with being alone... but it doesn't mean you will always be alone.
Then there's Match.com...
And it's better to be alone than in a bad relationship.
