Not hardly,

He got what he deserved just maybe not in a way everyone agrees with. We as a society need to due a better job of getting the worst of the worst dealt with. Once again why don't we concentrate now on the real threat Bin Laden a name that people don't seem to acknowledge as much anymore remember the guy that knocked down the towers and killed all those people. That is the guy who needs the noose or firing squad or Old Sparky, or lethal injection. Does it really matter, I mean dead is dead isn't it And know we don't need to torment people as they are being executed I mean really its a death sentence, the ultimate punishment. Taking the rest of a life from a human who does not deserve to live by the peoples ruling, I'm all for it just lets get it over with Like slaughtering rabid animals not an easy thing but it has to be done.

People and nations were scared of Saddam because he was a brutal dictator that did not think twice before killing people who disagreed with his rule or using gas to kill his own citizens (yes, that gas is a weapon of mass destruction) when he killed thousands of Kurds in northern Iraq.

He also wasn't afraid of invading other countries, as he did when he started the war with Iran in 1980 and when he invaded Kuwait in 1990.

What basic values and principals of Western civilizations were sacrificed? I believe that the brave men and women of the world who stand for humanity, peace and justice are over in Iraq trying to help a country establish itself as a democracy.

It might help you in your search of the answer to this question if you did a little historical research about Iraq and the middle east.

well here a list of some of the things he did, he's not a good man!!!

The following, according to the State Department report, were routine in Iraq during Saddam Hussein's rule:

Medical experimentation

Beatings

Crucifixion

Hammering nails into the fingers and hands

Amputating sex organs or breasts with an electric carving knife

Spraying insecticides into a victim's eyes

Branding with a hot iron

Committing rape while the victim's spouse is forced to watch

Pouring boiling water into the victim's rectum

Nailing the tongue to a wooden board

Extracting teeth with pliers

Using bees and scorpions to sting naked children in front of their parents
--------------
they are not scared, i Dont think his trial was to mock anything, how would you feel if some of the above thing's happened to you or your family!? This serial killer needed to die! he would not stop! What i find funny is all the compassion every one has for this evil man and his praying to god, what kind of god would want the People to be tortured like Saddam did to his own people?

its a good question...I think it was a political murder. Bush wanted to make shure he can keep his face by assuring this man does not get back into power ever (think of that scandal!!!) and the iraquis wanted to sacrifice this for the hope that this might make the American army leve without loosing face copletely.
But you are right. It was not right to murder him.
"And who judges the judges???"...
Thing is - if you murder a murderer you become the same!!! Thats the value that has been given up there. And hanging him wont help the families of his victims either. Two wrongs dont make a right. It might have been politically wise, but moraly.... does an Iraqui, whose family has been killed by the American army now have the right to ask for G.W. Bushed head? After all he invaded a foreighn country and killed women and children...so he is guilty of the same crime, that Saddam has been convicted for now. That is the dilemma.

Yes, as we can tell from the news we are to blame for everything negative in the entire world. that being said I would like to apologize to the world on behalf of my fellow Americans for the lack of sunlight between dusk and dawn everyday. It's our way of keeping the rest of the world oppressed and keep the demand for electricity high. I'm sorry.

Don't rip on the poster for his English. You can understand what he's saying, just because you don't agree with him is no reason to give him crap. The brave conscious people of the West no have no longer exsisted since 2001.

values and principals of Western civilizations are to betray your friends, say something and do something else, end justifies the means. Saddam was a murdered so I see both of them are same type of people, just the Americans were stronger so they killed him when they wanted to.

I stand for humanity and justice. Peace isn't really possible. Saddam was a terrible man. He was today's Hitler. If given the chance, I would have executed him, learn what he had done and then come back here to talk.

You are such a fool. Go to Baghdad and spout your ignorant rhetoric. I'm thinking you won't treated as well as Saddam however.
