world of warcraft question..?

I'm a (tauren) hunter, level 7, where/how can i learn tame pet?? Is it from a quest, because i can't find it as a skill from the hunter or pet trainers. If it helps at all, i am in bloodhoof village.

I would also, for the record, like to know where to get the quest, as a tauren.

At level 10 you'll get the quest in Mulgore. You should find this link very helpful:

You get the pet quest at level 10. At level 10 you'll get the quest to tame the beast.
