You have probably seen on ebay the mobile phone signal booster which you stick onto the back of your phone, my question is do they really work ?
I live in a really old house and for some reason i can never get by a 1 bar signal until i have to step outside the front door, so need something to help my signal inside.

Thanks

No Ive watched an entire show from My professor about them they do not do what is advertised you may gain one bar. You need 10 square yards of aluminum foil to gain the advertised effect

Signal boosters DO NOT work. The only way to you can improve your signal is
Purchase a Mobile or Cellular repeater. These do work but cost more then most people would be willing to spend,
Try a differant brand phone, Nokia's are known to have the best RF although chances are this will not help you enough.
When your contract runs out, check other providers coverage to see if it's better inside your home
Good Luck
Cheers

I have found the little ones that go inside or on the back of the phone to be pretty much useless. But the "whole house" boosters do work quite well. They have a much larger antenna than your phone so they can pull in weak signals it can not. We have one in our office. Without it we got NO signal. With it, 4 bars. The problem is they are NOT cheap. $300 for the one we used.

Not unless you want to spend $300 on a 3-watt booster and antenna. Those are the only ones that work.

the only thing those foil boosters do is remove cash from your billfold, better to get a different or upgraded phone. see if your model can encorporate a remote or power antenna you can use inside the building

yes & no, well I totally get mixed reviews I also sell them on my website & honestly if you have NO signal there will be none... Maybe if you have 1 bar it may boost to 2.... but usually I give them to customer when they inquire... no one has refused it or said that it doesnt work..... dont pay more than as few dollars (including shipping)!!!!

Snake oil through and through. They are a total waste of money and do not work.
