Some Muslims are refusing to wash their hands with sterilizing gel before entering a sick ward to visit. They say it is because of their religion and the gel containing alchohol, but that is not true. Imams have said this alchohol is acceptable as it is not drinking alchohol.

I don't have to run down some Muslims, they do a good enough job themselves. I'm simply asking that if there ARE some Muslims who REFUSE to wash hands, will Brits allow this because it is (so they say) against their religion.

They should be given the antibacterial soap they use in the NICU, and be told to use that, or get out. The last thing the world needs is some mutated disease wiping out half the population because some fool brought a disease into a ward where nobody has any immunity to bacterias due to chemo or radiation.

I am not racist because Muslims are not a race so therefore I can quite categorically say that they are no good, they have never been any good and will never do any good. They are hypocrits who say one thing and yet do another - namely murder - not one of them actually stands up and speaks against their suicide bomber 'brothers'
Oh and by the way they don't seem to have a problem selling and making money out of alcohol in their shops.

I dont know about the washing of hands but yes The Uk has become a sad place because of PC.
The funny thing is that PC is usually at the expense of themselves. They fuss and fight over keeping a 'National Identity' while brushig away most of the things that identify them as being British.

Sounds like a load of rubbish.
How easy is it to get some gel without alcohol? End of problem.
What scares me more is when some Muslim doctors or nurses refuse to carry out certain medical procedures due to religion. They are either a Doctor or not. They have to right to pick and chose.

If you believe what's in the currant bun, you'll have a distinctly pervy view of the world. It's a comic for old men who like to look at young girls, owned by an old man who's married to a young girl.
From our recent record, everyone who enters hospital is putting their lives in danger.

Sounds like the extreme few making a bit of a fuss. They should be made to wash their hands like everyone else (I also think that all visitors should wear plastic aprons too, but that's just me!)

They will find any reason to try our patience. My belief is that they allow anyone in this country, even if they bring in all the diseases that we had eradicated. In America you have to go through a thorough medical check before they will allow you to emigrate to their country. They have got it right.

Don't be so silly! So many people don't wash their hands properly in hospital - maybe it's more that people in general are just too damn lazy? I know i've seen numerous (white, presumably non-muslim) people in public toilets wander out without washing their hands. And what exactly is the NHS supposed to do? Have a hand-washing monitor waiting in the toilets with a clip board? Then the Sun would just be bitching about the 'nanny state'. And are you suggesting that muslims should automatically be refused entry to hospitals?!
