Real numbers...not some rhetoric crap!

2006-12-31 04:16:39 · 10 answers · asked by Ransom 4 in Politics & Government Politics

I believe collateral damage is unavoidable. I also believe the enemy is killing civilians to inflame the numbers of dead. They also pick up the weapons of their cohorts who don't wear uniforms who are then concidered civilian casualties. They are playing to liberals.

My point is: They are winning the propaganda war this way and I think the people should know who is doing the killing and why.

According to http://www.iraqbodycount.net/ the minimum number of Iraqi dead by American troops is 52,297 and the maximum is 57,871 except this seems to include individuals who were firing at US toops upon the time of their death - I don't think you can get an accurate number on how many of these individuals are non-combatants. There are real numbers on this website - but how much is unfair in its identification I would have a hard time to figure out. The numbers killed by the enemies (not enemy - because their a various groups) are at least in the tens of thousands if not the hundreds of thousands.

Good Luck!!!

Who are you, the census taker? Is their a point to your question. Collateral damage, forgive the euphemism, is a fact of life, however, the US has actually avoided civilian casualties, whereas the insurgents use them as practice fodder and intimidation! You do the math, because there is no intellectual point to your question.

You would know how many have been killed, if the administration reported those numbers, but they're too busy to be bothered with such trivial matters.

I asked the same thing awhile ago, and no real answers. More has been caused by the insurgents, Americans aren't the ones doing all of the bombing there, only people they are killing are the insurgents..

Its not our troops are going door to door shooting civillians. The Insurgents are reponsible for probably 648,500 out of the 650,000; they blow up civillians everyday and when they fight, they hide behind civillians.

Since they dying due to the presence of the US, I would argue the US is RESPONSIBLE for all of them, regardless of the cause of death.

All of them were caused by Bush - without his lies, there would be no casualties on any side!
