I need something to do. My mom went out for about an hour and when she comes back I need something that we could do today for fun on New Years Eve..... Any ideas?........

Take a walk together? It's supposed to be a beautiful day for it, I think.
Any forested areas near you? Or Kool attractions.
Or shop. Sit and talk, play games. Checkers. Cards. That sort of thing.
How Kool, spending New Year's Eve together! Now matter how ya spend it.
Tonight, Watch the ball fall! That is fun, to see all the people, either with people or by yourself, t's still fun.

no. I would not trust a 12 or 13 y old to be responsible enough to care for my child alone. As a parents helper, of course, but what about if your daughter starts choking.. What is she going to do? call 911? shell be dead before they get there.. does she have the strength to actually do a heimlich on the child ( or the knowledge of how..) or if her finger gets stuck on the doorway and gets snapped off ( sure unlikely but has happened to a friend of mine. The kids finger came off clean ) would she have the level head of collecting the finger, putting it in proper container and applying preassure while calling 911.. anyways, the list goes on and on. i dont trust anyone under 16 alone with my kids ( 3,5,8 y old) and even though I think thats is very young too, its better than 12 ( and I use my niece who is now 16)

Well I'm 12 and I go out with friends and family get fireworks and camp out in the yard under the stars for Fun also New Years is my little Brothers Birthday.

* Put together a puzzle, putting the last piece in after midnight ("it took a year to put together"). This can also be fun with board games like Monopoly or Scrabble.
* Toast the New Year with Meier's Sparkling Catawba. It's bubbly like champagne without the alcohol; a carbonated grape juice.
* Watch a marathon of your favorite movies and munch your favorite treats. (Several friends of mine like to watch the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy on New Year's Eve.)
* Get Sparklers (if they're legal in your area) and have your own miniature fireworks in your backyard. (It's really fun if you have snow. Stick them in the snow, light them, stand back, and watch them glisten.)

Have lots of snack food. Watch movies and/or play games. Have some sparkling grape juice at midnight. Have your mom get you some champagne glasses or you could use wine glasses. Watch the ball drop and toast in the new year. Go outside and make lots of noise at midnight.

Well, normally I would say sleep, but since it is a Sunday, how about shopping if the malls are open where you are. If you can go outside for some good fun.

get a movie, play osme games, get some crafts off line, and take wacky pictures of you guys geting drunk ofcc chocolate and fake champagne. lol. im doing that later tonight with my cousins and my memere!! lol

you should get sparkling juice in like a wine bottle and get plastic wine glasses and decorate them with your guests name on them or put like 2007 on them!
