I have my LG 37LC2D television:

...hooked up to my Windows XP laptop with a VGA cable (15 pin D-sub connector). The TV will only let me display a 1024x768 picture, which means there are black bars on both sides of the image - or I can stretch the image, but it's still a 1024x768 image. How can I take advantage of the full 1366x768 resolution the TV has? I have tried adjusting every possible display property. I could even use a different cable, but don't know what to use. Thanks, and Happy New Year!
