how do i take music out of my ipod?

i need help to take music out of my ipod i put music at my house and i want to put the music onto my friends computer but i cant and he had the new version of itunes

u go 2 ur itunes library n delete em off dere n then when u put in ur ipod it will take d songs off!!!

You ca buy the iPod tools software so you can do that easily with a program or you can plug your iPod into your computer. Then navigate to My computer and you will see there an icon of an external hard drive. click it open and look for the folder with music.
You wont know what song is what because iPod will have renamed them with a name in code but you can copy and paste it on a different directory. Make sure before pluging your iPod to your friend computer iTunes has Off the option of automatically update iPod when is plug in. OTher whise it will delete everything you have and will put wherever your friend has in it.

plug in ur ipod and a folder will open up from itunes it will say the name of ur ipod if u gave it a name and u select that folder then u can just select any song by right clicking it and it will say clear click clear and a pop up will probaly appear making sure that u want to delet it click yes and when your done click update ipod ps: u can go to the playlist that u use to put ur songs on your ipod and clear the songs you dont want the same way ... then when u plug in your ipod and go to the folder that ur ipod stuff is in on the bottom of the window it will say auto fill from select your playlist and then make sure replace all items when autofilling is checked off ... then update you ipod

Plug your iPod in. Click on the song(s) you want deleted and press the delete button on your keyboard.
