Britains Top Soldier, Sir Michael Rose said,

Mr Blair and US President George Bush were trying to "evade responsibility" for the state of Iraq.

"They tell us it is the Iraqi government that runs the country," he wrote. "This is disgraceful hand-washing. They know, under the Geneva Conventions, they were responsible for the disastrous breakdown of law and order in the country they invaded."

Sir Michael has previously called for the Prime Minister to be impeached over Iraq, where he had gone to war on "false grounds".

Do British politics really matter? I thought Tony Blair just followed the lead of George W. Bush on all foreign policy matters.

Well, I don't know if the British are more "honest," but I can tell you from maturity and experience that they are definitely more intelligent and literate.

On the one hand, here's Pres. Bush. Entire web sites exist to preserve his lack language skills. He's the kind of redneck that would actually provoke and dare terrorists to attack us (the infamous "bring it on").

On the other hand, here's Tony Blair, Prime Minister of the country where our language was BORN; the home of timeless writers like Shakespeare, Milton, and the home of Oxford.

A cracker like Bush shouldn't even be on the same stage with a man like Blair.

Now, supposedly, Bush graduated from Yale, a respected university. I ask you in all candor, can you listen to this man speak and believe that he got anything better than a passing grade in composition?

I mean, one's language skills are supposed to improve with age and maturity, but Bush - with his constant malapropisms (go look it up) and that hideous smirk - reminds me more of a comedian than a leader.

I would not call this honesty...
I would call it partisan disloyalty bordering on treason.
Sir Michael Rose needs to be cashiered , demoted and his
Peerage recinded.
