its not a bad card but not top of the range either.
definately any games from 2006 will have to have their graphics turned down lower to play.
You should be ok with half life 2, farcry and similar games from maybe a year or 2 ago as thes eshoudl run very well on that system.
Some newer game should be fine too, like the new need for speed and the sims 2
don't just go off what the game box says is the minimum requirements as this is just what is needed to get the game to boot up, not to make it playable.

The the X600 will allow you to *run* _most_ games, but at all low if not minimum settings. It is simply not powerful enough to handle medium or high settings without seriously lagging (the game will update only once or twice each second, which is 1 or 2 FPS - you want the game to be above 30FPS to be actually playable).

it depends what the requirements are for the game like a game called "Punisher" requires a 256mb graphics card so if you have a 128mb card its not going to work. I have a 256mb graphics and it plays all the game i want to play so i would think it would play the games you would like to play

Should be suitable for most games. Think the highest min requirement I have seen is 128mb graphics card. As time goes on though you may find you need bigger than that.

relies upon on which video games could you play. in case you're an off-the-cuff gamer and play basically previous video games like CounterStrike and GTA san andreas then its extra advantageous than sufficient. in case you're a annoying middle gamer searching for the glittering titles like Mass result, Battlefield , Crysis then evaluate a minimum of a million GB

It depends on what games you are trying to play. it should be good enough for some games..but not sufficient enough for game's 6 months old or newer, i would suggest upgrading to the newest video card.

Most games programs state on the package what the minimum requirements are to run the game. Some games, such as Oblivion need more powerful Video and Audio cards.
Yours sounds as if it would be adequate for most games. You need minimum about 64Mb RAM.

Try this link to find out,

I would also suggest to first try some demos here and find out if games you like run as good as you want.

I have that card, it's adequate for games. I've used it for F.E.A.R and America's Army on decent quality settings with no problem.
