I have a ten gallon tank with currently
1 pleco
1 molly
3 female swords (breeding)
2 male swords
3 small rasboras.
None are aggressive, even when eating.
I also have a 2.5 gallon tank where I had my sword give birth to about 20 fry. I was just wondering if I could let the sword give birth in the 10 gallon tank? I have a ton of plants, and some "breeding grass". Thanks for helping!

yes I do, but you won't get a lot of fry reaching adult hood in your tank, the pleco will eat fry and so will adults of other species eat fry that are not their own. Also parents will eat their own fry in a small environment. 10 gallons is REALLY small for all those fish.

I just want to say that your 3 rasboras are schooling fish and need to be at least 6, at three their behaviour will be unusual and they could pick off all the fry.

LOTS of plants is good, but you really need floating plants for fry like duckweed or riccia/crystal wort.

I raise livebearer fry in a mixed species tank with adults present in a 65 gallon with MANY SMALL hiding spaces. It works no problem. Feed the fry fry food and crushed egg yoke from a hard boiled egg.

I also have a ten gallon tank that I breed guppies in. I also have Swords, Tetras and Mollies in the tank. I let the fry stay in the ten gallon tank and on average out of every litter I have one or two survive to adults. Just make sure you have plenty of cover (plants, rocks, etc.) and feed the adults twice a day to keep their appetites down. Good Luck!!

Give lots of hiding places floatiing plants and areas thick with plants plastic or real and if you have a undergravel filter those will help , the filter is more peaceful to fry
the older fish will eat them and the more places they can hide the more might survive

i read that its possible that they will be eaten by the other fish or sucked up by the filter. mine lived in a feeder tank, within the tank) for a few days before he gave up and died.
