I think you said about everything.. She´s going through a rough time and he gives her attention so she will do anything... She met him online and this is so dangerous.. I wonder if he really is 19.. Honey, I know she´s only 14, but wouldn´t believe the pervs out there... There are men taht want young girls, even younger than 14 whether they´re ready or not for sex. What I think you should do is talk honestly with her, explain your concerns, your worries... Tell her about online predators and how dangerous that can be.. He´s probably just taking advantage of her, because she´s going through a hard time and over sensitive to manipulation. You need to show her that he is not the only person to give her attention. I don´t know about other people, but tell her that YOU will be there for her. That she is your friend and you love and you don´t want to see her get hurt. Tell her that you care about her so much and that´s why you are expressing your concerns.. LET HER KNOW that she is NOT ALONE! Tell her you´ll do everything you can to be there for her and help her through the hard times.. That´s what she needs the most.. knowing that someone cares!

tell her parents or a trusted adult. this guy sounds like a pervert, maybe a child molester. There's no telling how many young girls he's preyed upon in this way. Not only that, its illegal- she's a minor! If she meets up with him there's no telling what horrible thing will happen- she doesnt' know this guy at all. He could be a dangerous person! If you can't talk her out of it, tell someone, and SOON.. Don't worry about how she thinks of you for it- her SAFETY is at risk!
Good luck!

Your friend could be in real danger here. You don't really know anything about this guy. He could be lying about his name and date of birth. Even if he is telling the truth he is only going to use her for sex. You can't let her meet him. If she won't listen to you, i would suggest you tell her mum or dad. That sounds scary and she will probably be mad at you for a while but at least she won't get hurt. Good luck and happy new year.

Yes, you should everything in your power to prevent this from happening. Your friend suffers from low self esteem and by having sex with a guy who is basically a stranger, she thinks she is finding acceptance. And yes this guy can find girls his own age, he's just manipulating her for sex. My guess is that she will end up pregnant one day. Is there any adults you can tell about this? Maybe you should take action yourself and rat the guy out. Good luck.

I think this problem is really too big for you to manage. You might want to tell someone older, perhaps an aunt. I know if you told your mum she would probably go ballistic and upset your friendship with your mate. .. find someone a little older and more experienced, big sister or aunt perhaps, to handle this problem and speak to your friend. She could get into serious trouble.
Good luck
You are a good friend for taking advice on this ... there's a lot of mates who wouldn't care if their friends were in danger.

I agree with gorgeousfluffpot. tell her parents what shes doing. its for her own good & safety. we dont want to read about this in the paper like we do of so many other young teenage girls getting raped and murdered. Sounds horrible but it happens. Your friend probably wont be happy with you but its for her own well being
Happy New Year 2 u 2!! Have a happy and safe 2007!

this guy cud be a molsetor, rapist, pedophile, or murderer. does she even kno what this guy looks like? if u know when she's going to meet him i suggest telling her parents or the police if u kno she's definately gonna see him. u mite never see ur friend again. at first she may get mad at u, but in the long run it will be better. when she actually sees what this guy looks like, she's gonna be thankful. this guy aalso prob had other run-ins with the law. im afraid for ur friend and i suggest taking it to the authorities if u think she's that serious. im 13 and i wudnt do something like that, so its hard for me to think someone 14 cud do that. if she gets mad at u, say i did it becuz i was afraid id never see u again. good luck

You need a grown-up to help with this one. If her parents are not the answer, maybe your mum can have a chat with her. There must be someone you can confide in, you need to stop her in her tracks NOW, even if she falls out with you, you will have done what is right.
