Do you plan to do anything differently in 2007 to improve gas consumption on your vehicles. Buying an Electric Hybrid or a better MPG car would be awesome but not an option for most of us. Perhaps, its a behavioral change like more car pooling and less flooring of the gas pedal. Or a discipline like budeting your gas dollars/gallons and vowing not to cross it.

Seriously considering something to feel good and green about in 2007? What ?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Make less trips to town. Get all my chores done on one trip.

We already commute to the big city about 25 miles away sometimes for work or shopping but we always drive our small car the VW bug. It gets 30-32 miles per gallon. We do not own SUV's (the hardest on the environment) and our biggest vehile is a Ford F-150 we use for the ranch when needed.

Get rid of your SUV and you will help stop Global Warming. Want to help even further, stop shopping so much. Use what you have instead of buying and buying. Everything your buy is manufactured and that moves us further to destruction of the environment. We are a shopping fanatic society and we waste too much. Everything goes to the landfill. We need to learn how to put our trash to good use.
Happy New Year

Provided you don't need to drive more than 30 miles to work, there are affordable electric vehicles, it's just that most of us don't know about them. Check this out:

An electric conversion car can be had for as little as $5000, it looks like a normal car, and it does freeway speeds. But what if you want something a little better?

The fully practical electric car is just around the corner. Look at this car below - it gets up to 250 miles per charge, holds 5 passengers plus cargo, does 95mph, and can be charged in as little as TEN MINUTES. Yes, it's a real car, it can be pre-ordered right now for delivery THIS YEAR:

It's not perfect because it's too expensive. But all it takes is for people to start buying them, for the price to come down.

I resolve to spend as little "green" as possible by buying the lowest price gas I can find for my vehicles. I am not going to change my driving habits, nor am I going to drive an "econ-box".

Happy new year to you too!!
