There are three theories that could determine the fate of our universe. It has already been proven that it is not infinite, so here are the three.

Either the universe will expand forever and slowly deteriorate all life due to the chance in nature.
Stop expanding and contain all life in it.
Or collapse and obviously kill all life in it.

So far, from observation, scientists think that the universe is expanding.

Space is the absence of stuff (its all around earth cos theres no air or anything out there). So that means it will never end, there will be a point where there are no more planets or matter but space will keep going. (If theres nothing there, then there's just a big 'space').

Space ends at October 21, 4242 at roughly 10:00 AM. The exact time is really hard to calculate down to the exact hour.

Space ends where the outer edge of the expansion of the universe ends or when you get to infinity, whichever comes first.

Hi. An ant walking on a soccer ball can ask the same question. If you can visualize the same ant walking on the same soccer ball, but with the ant at the center of an imaginary other soccer ball that moves with her, you'll have a closer idea. (Most ants are female.)

truely it never does since the universe is expanding but there may be one day a term called a closed universe where the universe gets smaller but that hasn't happened yet.
