I think peoples eagerness to watch someone die says a lot about the people of this country.

It is sick if the watcher just wants to get his rocks off.
However, the act of hanging him had to be recorded to show the People that he is really dead.
It is a poor world we have made where no-one trusts the word of another any more.
If a any Politician made a statement that Saddam had been hung; no one and I repeat no one would believe it.
So it is on the net, this will allow conspiracy theorists the chance to say that it was computer generated, a wax work, or a double.
Look out for the Yahoo question ''Is Saddam really dead or was it a hoaxe?''.

in a free world you have a choice not to watch this video, and other's have a choice to watch it for whatever reason's, whether it's cause they want to see justice served ,or they are "sick" as you put it. I don't think everyone should be label sick if they want to watch this Evil man being put to death . just keep in mind these are some of the things he did to his own people..
The following, according to the State Department report, were routine in Iraq during Saddam Hussein's rule:
Medical experimentation
Beatings
Crucifixion
Hammering nails into the fingers and hands
Amputating sex organs or breasts with an electric carving knife
Spraying insecticides into a victim's eyes
Branding with a hot iron
Committing rape while the victim's spouse is forced to watch
Pouring boiling water into the victim's rectum
Nailing the tongue to a wooden board
Extracting teeth with pliers
Using bees and scorpions to sting naked children in front of their parents
Saddam also routinely tortured and murdered women.
I personally think he got off easy, by hanging!!
anyone that want's to watch the full video of saddam hanging, i included the link below..

I would never want to watch something like that no matter whom is at the end of the rope!
But, think about it. Back in the old days, hangings were like big block parties. Everyone, including children would go to watch. Morbid curiousity? I think not. Maybe it is meant to be more of a deterant (sp?) - if you do this, you too will swing. I don't know, but I wouldn't go...

I certainly don't think it's very nice infact, I'm beginning to find the entire subject of Saddam very boring. So much has happened since Saddam's discovery and arrest that his execution, frankly, doesn't really mean anything anymore.

Well unlike the majority on here I will be honest. Want to look? enjoy watching?....no, but it is a natural human morbid curiosity that makes people watch, the same as the MILLIONS of people around the world that slow down to look at road traffic accidents. What really p1sses me off is the amount of people that come on here having a go at the people that do and then (and you all know who you are) look at it themselves! It all goes back to the same question that I see on here time after time 'Why do lots of people on here all think that they are far superior to every one else' . Look....don't look...it is a personal choice...it is hardly paedophilia

It is a bit sick! But we are human and sometimes a little to curious!
I don't mind making a joke or two at the evil dictators demise...but to actively seek it out and watch it...no!

I was just talking about the same thing to my Dad earlier today. Its not a nice thing to see anyones life end. But we have not been beaten, tortured, and executed, by him, so for some (his victims who are still alive and families of his victims) this video will mean alot.

Sick, why would see any ones life end be entertaining. The way it keeps getting brought up it sounds like the people who want to see it would want to see anyone get killed just to see death happen not because of who it was (people flocked to see that American soldier killed too).
