Youre really 8 weeks. Thats how the medical profession dates pregnancies, on the last period. The first day of your last period.
You got pregnant from the sex you had on the 19th.
Generally you ovulate two weeks after your last period. Which means the embryo is at about 6 weeks, but your pregnancy acording to the doctors will always start with your last period, and thats what matters. You just ignore the date that the baby was actually made.
your pregnancy will be 40 weeks (the human gestational period is 280 days, or 9 months and two weeks about, when you add the extra two weeks on for your last period, you get 40 weeks, so it makes no difference what-so-ever, you are not some how pregnant longer than you should be) You'll need to see a doctor to confirm those dates and to get a better understanding of how it works.
its not comlicated, its just long to explain. You're 8 weeks pregnant. :) Or two months.

U are 8 weeks and 4 days,so every wednesday u will be another week. wednesday will make u 9 weeks etc. U concieved on November 15th and your due date is going to be August 8th 2007. Doctors will usually go by a womens period unless an uktrasound shows a different conception date. The reason it says u are 8 weeks is because when u concieve they say the blastocyst is already 2 weeks old (baby). It is complicated but hard to explain. Good luck and congrats!

if your last period was 8 weeks ago, that would have been 1st nov you would have conceived "roughly" 2 weeks after this. so that would be that you got pregnant around the 19th novemeber, as this is when you would have been ovulating. even though the baby was conceived 6ish weeks ago the doctors ect use the date of the first day of your last period, because there usually is no way of telling exactly when you conceive. basically in a nut shell you are 8 weeks preg the computer is correct. you should try asking your doctor to explain it to you, if you still are not sure

Well if you had a period after your encounter in Oct then the encounter in November would be the bulls eye. Best bet...see a doctor, get the care you need and an ultrasound to check the babies heart rate and this will also give you a much better due date from the measurements of the baby.

You got pregnant in Novemeber. Go to your dr and they'll base it on the first day of your last period. When they think you've reached around 9 weeks or so they'll do a vaginal ultrasound and they can tell you for sure based on what the baby looks like. Go to the dr. Go to babyzone.com and fill out the pregnancy calander based on your last period. They'll show you when you concieved.
