is there a substitute until I can get a delivery? I thought I heard you could run kerosene, but dont want to mess anything up. Anyone know?

#2 diesel fuel but remember you will have to prime the system before it will work (get air out of the lines) g/l

Call your oil supply company and ask them!!!!!! If they are not available, check EVERY resource before you use diesel fuel. There may be a difference in the flammability of diesel fuel.

I wouldn't mess around without getting some specific info.

Where I live you can call the supplier ANYTIME, even on Christmas day and they will deliver your oil.

DO NOT purchase #2 diesel. Use #1, its the same product as home heating oil. #2 contains additives that can damage your equipment.

Go to your gas station and purchase some #2 Diesel fuel right from the pump. That will work just fine...

It's the name of the oil-pump, NOT the boiler, its probably Danfoss., I would suggest that you get a qualified service engineer to install a "tigerloop" which means that NEVER AGAIN will you have this problem, Installation costs circa £70
