Isn't anybody who argues that homosexuality is a choice admitting that they can see themselves making that exact choice? Otherwise, why would they believe it is a choice?

I strongly believe it is not a choice because I just couldn't imagine getting down with another dude.

Those who are rabidly homophobic are usually closet cases themselves.

Gay people are just born that way - I know from the gay people I've met that most of them would prefer to be straight if they could because it would make life easier. Noone would make a choice to follow a lifestyle that is the subject of so much bigotry and hatred and leads to you having to suffer physical, verbal and emotional attacks from the bigots.

I didn't make a "choice" to be straight - I just am. I could never find women attractive, I love men, thats just what I am, there is no element of "choice" in it for me!

i never see myself with another DuDe.. and i can't understand how this can be, BUT I know from gay people that this is the only thing they can be. it's not a choice for them, they just never feel anything towards females, and some of them wish they were 'normal' cause life would have been easier. so i can imagine that they are not just trying to be different or kinky. it has nothing to do with my own sexual orientation, its about understanding them and being tolerant towards freedom of life styles. they can do whatever they want as long as it's thier own life.

i've chosen to be heterosexual. i'm married to a person of the opposite sex.

if i didn't want this lifestyle i would have chosen to live alone or to become a nun.

this is just the way I chose to live my life. it was a choice for me. no one forced me into living as a heterosexual. i have also chosen to keep quiet about my lifestyle. i do not wish to share or shout it to everyone that i meet that i am a heterosexual. i do wear a wedding ring on my left hand ring finger. if you see that you are safe to assume i am married.

Yeah, I've never understood that. I've asked people before, if they think it's a choice, how did they make theirs, but I've never gotten a straight answer. If it is a choice, then they must have remarkable will power, because I didn't choose to be heterosexual...I just am. I didn't choose to love my husband, I just do. I don't get that either.

just because you support someone's right to be gay does not in any way mean that you have to be gay. thats like admitting that because you supported the woman's right to vote back in the early 20th century means that you were really either a woman or a tranny. come on, thats a ridiculous question!

No. And the belief that stealing is a choice doesn't make one a thief.

50% of homosexuals are born that way, the other half are sucked into it.
