You poor dear! Yes, when I got pregnant I was taking antideppressants. My Dr. told me to stop taking them for a week and see how I felt. He assurred me if I felt I needed them, I could go back on them. Luckily, I was able to stay off of them during my pregnancy because I wanted to breast feed and its released in the milk. Be sure to check with your Dr. I sincerely hope your situation improves, and your pregnancy is an easy, happy time.

Maybe the answer isnt medication, but a change of life.

Leave him, file for child support, and get around people who can make you feel secure.

If youre still battling severe depression, your OB or midwife can perscribe as safe an antidepressant as possible for your pregnancy.

most doctors do not allow their patients to be on anti-dipressants when pregnant. there may be some that are approved and you should check with your doctor tho. there could be side effects on the baby.

also, in general people don't change their behavior in relationships. change is very hard to accomplish and may take years of therapy or counseling. i advise you to get out and stay away for the sake of your own mental health and that of your children.

I think you need to dump your husband and take an anti-depressant. Of course it will be hard but your kids deserve alot better and it's your responsibility to take care of them. Prozac and Zoloft are the safest for pregnancy because they have been the most researched.

Some are safe to take during pregnancy, and definately safer then just being depressed.

you have to ask your Dr, some are safe, but the best thing is to get away from him till he gets better, and I think he is the one who needs to see Dr and get on pills
