RE: 999 calls
A drunk calls the police to complain that there was too much chilli sauce on his kebab.
One man calls to ask if there were any pizza shops open, when told that this was not an emergency, he said, "It is, my wife is pregnant and gagging for pizza."
A woman in Northumbria called up saying that she was attacked by two spiders in the cellar.
Don't these people realise that while they are placing these stupid calls to the police, they are wasting valuable police time and could possibly be delaying calls from going through, from people who have a real emergency?

This one takes the cake, from last July:
"WOMAN ALLEGEDLY CALLS 911 FOR ‘CUTIE’ DEPUTY"
ALOHA, Ore. - A woman who called 911 to get "the cutest cop I've seen" sent back to her home got a date all right — a court date.
The same sheriff's deputy arrested her on charges of misuse of the emergency dispatch system.
It all started with a noise complaint called in by neighbors of Lorna Jeanne Dudash. The deputy sent to check on the complaint knocked on her door, then left.
Thompson said Dudash then called 911, asking that the "cutie pie" deputy return.
"He's the cutest cop I've seen in a long time. I just want to know his name," Dudash told the dispatcher. "Heck, it doesn't come very often a good man comes to your doorstep."

it somewhat is dumb, u provide us a stereotype, and let us know to not do it. for this reason i will't say something, as a results of fact i could would desire to describe one hispanic/latin lady as all different ones, for this reason i could be stereotyping. So, I even have dated a hispanic lady, I even have had intercourse with a hispanic lady, yet i did not fall in love together with her. I did fall in love with yet another lady who seems white, even inspite of the fact it somewhat is from Costa Rica. we have not talked in a whilst, yet i could have married her if we dated (we the two enjoyed eachother a TON and frolicked a TON, yet i never grew a pair and asked her out)

I have my Embarq phone bill in front of me and there is a .50 surcharge. I wish people wouldn't abuse it as if it were a dating service, next thing I'll know they'll raise the price of the surcharge because of these people.
