i know i haven't given an exactly descriptive idea of what the tune sounds like but it is literally the only way i can describe it, so if you know of any dance songs which could possibly sound similar as the main tune kicks in, please reply, kind regards,

Could it possibly be Axel F by Harold Faltermeyer. It was HUGE in the 80's and was on several movies including Beverly Hills Cop. There is also a club/dance mix to the song.
