I lost my phone charger and was wondering if I could use the USB hookup that connects my phone to my PC to charge my phone? I was able to do it with my Razr but wasn't sure if it would work for the Chocolate.

Why not just buy a charger?

either do a bit of cutting, get an old wire that is attached to a plug and cut it. there shound be 2 wires. strip them so you can see the metal and then get a motorola usb cable if possible and cut that. use the bit that goes into the phone. it also has 2 wires. strip them and then connnect the plug wire. make sure they dont touch and tape them up together or just by a new charger, or usb cable on ebay or something. they arnt very expensive! or just live with having to charge it on the computer with problems!

I'm pretty sure that that will work. Just plug it into the USB outlet and take no action on the computer with the phone. It works for iPods and like you said the Razr.
