My earphones are so uncomfortable and don't want to stay in place. I am currently using a regular headphone set that came with my portable cd player, but would rather have the small ear pods. Any suggestions. Thanks

Read. Ask for advice. There are tons of options. Also check the links on the site, look for the head-fi link, it's a forum full of Audiophiles who answer questions like this every day..

Off the top of my head you can choose from

Shure E3C, E4C
Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5 Pros
Westone UM1s, UM2s
V-moda VIBES, Bass Freqs
Sennheiser CX300s
Creative Labs EP-630s
Sony EX90s

Etc. The Westone UM1's are the most comfortable of the bunch, and all of them sound better than the stock buds.

You'll want to know what kind of money you are willing to spend, what kind of music you enjoy (because each earphone has a different sound signature to it). Etc.

I bought the Sony earphones with 3 different ears sizes. If they are uncomfortable, you probably need the smallest size. That's what I use and it is so much better. Bought them at Best Buy.
