I don't know about some of your other answers, but Gumbel is wrong that a turnover on downs occurs on FOURTH down.
A turnover on downs occurs when a team goes for it on 4th down and fails. A turnover on downs also occurs AFTER the punt on 4th down.
Bryant calls a turnover on downs has occurred because a team faces 4th down and a punting situation. That is simply wrong.
He's a bad commentator...one of the worst I've ever heard. He doesn't know the game, or how to call it.
And belching on the air? I couldn't believe it.

Technically Turnover means that one team turns the ball over to teh other team. Usually we have made it such that if a team loses the ball by a fumble or an interception then we call it turnover. But Gumbell is correct on this one (but I don't like his call)

The sound of it is dramatic and it is true. You are right to say something because we usually think of a turn over on downs when on the fourth you do not make the first down. It is just so dramatic to hear it.

I didn't like him as a News Anchor, as the host of the Morning Show or has a Sport caster. I think he's an arrogant ***

Because he's an idiot.
Looks like all the play-by-play ability in that family went to Greg. It's almost impossible to listen to Bryant.
