There was nothing wrong in bringing Ganguly back into the team as World Cup is only couple of months away and India have to field the strong team. In order to select the best players available all the talented players of past and present have to be tried out to assess their capabilities before team for world cup is finalised. If Ganguly regains his lost touch and form, it will defeniotely strengthen Indian tean. However if he fails to perform he will have no place in the Indian team and there can be no complaint that he has been axed without giving fair chance.

Only time will tell if it was a good decision to bring back Ganguli. I think people are overly concerned about the team India's poor performance against S.A. They went there with a clear understanding that the tour is not going to be a easy one. Our star players are not doing well against the fast bowling on the bouncy pitches of S.A. By the time the WC starts they will have sorted out their problems and certainly do well. I think no team under estimates team India except our own arm-chair pundits.

Definetly, gangu got talent and experience, although he doesn't have good sports ethics as he tries to show off injuries and stuff, but still he is one of the best batsman ever played cricket. When all the top order and the whole team is struggling it is fair to give gangu time show what he got, and in a sense he did in the first test against South Africa.

Did you not see him bat in the first Test of the present RSA-India Test series? His performance was the best. Of course, it is mind boggling, that this gentleman, who times his strokes most sweetly in the world, easily gets himself out by poking his bat outside the off stump, like a very ordinary player. If he can somehow get out this habit, then he will be the most diffficult to get out. If it were not for politics, it is Sachin who should have been dropped long back.

saurav ganguly was recalled with team india already were 0/4 down, losing the one days............worst captain rahul dravid, though we can't critise him, as greg chapple is eating the flesh out of dravid's skin......
saurav ganguly scored 83 in the first match that he played in sauth africa, that was a practice match, where other batsman failed...........

then saurav played the first test match, and scored a 51 notout, and then again in the second innings, he scored 25..........india won that match..........

then again in the practice match, saurav scored another 41 notout, and dravid declaired the innings........then he took 2 wickets..........

after that, he make 0,26, where dravid made 11,5 and sachin made a duck in the second innings.

saurav has already justified his place..........now he should be made the captain of team india again, as he is the best ever captian for indian team................
