This is common. The parents see their daughter as an innocent little girl. They see you as a threat that could seduce or ruin their daughter and also take her away from them This is natural.

If you are sincere, show respect to them, show respect to their daughter in front of them. Talk to them about things that might interest them, not you. They are not interested in how cool or hip you are. This is just more reason to alienate them. Respect goes along way no matter how unreasonable they are. Look at it this way, you are never going to change them, just accept the way they are.

I have been there, gone through it, sometimes for the good and sometimes for the bad.

If you talk the way you spell and write, you do have a problem. I wasn't too impressed by my first encounter of you either. No offence meant. .

Excuse my spelling as the spell checker isn't working.

You are engaged to someone and you have only seen her parents 2 times? Is there a distance that is the reason for this/ how long did you know her and date before engaged? How can they care for you or not if they don't get to be around you more. If this concerns you spend more time with them so they can get to know you. and then maybe their feeling will change.

It is kind of difficult to determine whether or not they like you or not if they have only met you twice. Besides--does it really matter? I mean as long as your fiance cares for you, and has decided to be with you--then it shouldn't be a problem. The reality is if they love her--and she loves you--they will eventually love you too. Give them a little time to get to know you. Be yourself and things will work out the way they should.

Do you really need them? How was your life before you met them? Do you have adoptive parents?
Maybe you only need in your life what you have now...

You do nothing, it is what she wants that counts.
