I've been in San Diego many times and I've fallen in love with the city. The people there are nice. I even got to talk to a lady there at a checkout lane at a store, and the clerk there. Yeah they're very nice.

I've never been to LA even though my first and last initials are LA lol!!

Ok well I bought this book called "How to make it as a Hollywood Assistant"

They said that LA people are rude, vicious, impatient and the bosses blame you on everything. (which I don't mind because they need to vent off their stress somewhere right?)

So what would you suggest?

My vote in NYC is San Diego. I have friends who moved to both San Diego and LA. Heard only good comments about San Diego, fantastic weather, great beaches, plenty of things to do. And I heard mostly negative comments about Los Angeles. Rat Race, Phony People, Back Stabbers. All have said those from LA are totally dishonest. Then again, in NYC, we don't have the squeaky clean reputation either. Then again, if you want to be in the Hollywood industry, LA is the way to go.

Based on weather, I can easily eliminate San Francisco, even though I love to visit it. Mark Twain once said that the coldest winter he ever experienced was a summer in San Francisco. SF is also more expensive. Based on the sheer number of things to do, I would go with LA. There are hundreds of places to go and things to do here, too many to list. The nightlife is legend. It might be a bit cheaper in SD, but not enough to make a difference. My money's on LA.
