Sleeping with a pillow takes any pressure off your hips and keeps them in line. They say that crossing your legs is bad for the hips to but as far as helping your tummy it might help take any pressure in that area and stop any pulling and strin on those parts of the body.Your hip and tummy but it won't help relieve the piercing.Have a great NEW YEAR.

Sleeping on your side with a pillow between your legs justs places your hips in slightly more correct anatomical alignment. It is often helpful for pregnant women, people with lower back pain and sciatica also.
It's also helpful if you tend to be a "hot" sleeper because you keep two large body ares from touching up against each other and making you feel overheated.
Spoon the pillow baby. You may like it.

I've been doing that most of my life... A pillow between my legs makes me feel so comfortable that if I don't have it, I cannot go to sleep. Now, foot out? No. In my case, if one of my feet is out, I get so cold that I get stomachache. Even during the summer, my feet have to be covered...

It makes the spine straight with your body. I sleep one between my legs every night for quite a few years.

i don't know.....it was a trick i used when i was pregnant in the later months and made sleeping on my side more comfortable. I guess it would also keep you from rolling onto your tummy.
