By forcing politicians to follow the Constitution. The Constitution puts restraints on government by limiting its power, separation of powers, and checks and balances.

Today, politicians ignore the Constitution. They create unconstitutional agencies (Dept of Education, Energy and Health and Human Services, for example). The president sends servicemen into combat with out a declaration of war from the congress. They have replaced our gold backed dollar with inflationary federal reserve notes.

The first thing people have to do is to READ THE CONSTITUTION. Understand that the essence of freedom is the limitation of government. Every time a law is passed, you have less freedom.

That is the secret to preventing a criminal politician from getting too much power.

By together doing something, sitting andb eing quite and doing nothing is the same with supporting these people...

In a democratic country you do it by voting ;)

In a country with dictatorship you do it by war (by revolt), peace by war as I saw in one movie ^^

You need a good leader for this beacue it surely aint easy and human lives can be at stake...you need that very special spark. And today as always (irreproachable ) most people are afraid...
Man look at Martin Luther King, Olof Palme (Sweden), J.F. Kennedy all assassinated, no one is safe these days...nowhere...

If you will notice that these Dictators, do not believe in God or any other Higher Power then themselves. The first they do is outlaw religion once they are in power, and make themselves the all powerful. We can Pray and Vote.

Nothing, that is the way it is. The "evilness" of these people is driven by something... such as greed. So, if you remove the benefits of being in power, then those whose greed gets the better of them, won't become leader... but of course, as a leader, there are always benefits, so you really can't do that.
