i read from a book about a man (Imam Malik the Islamic Scholar) who was in the womb of his mother for 3 years i was shocked because this period is of 9-months.so please tell me is this possible ????
if yes then please tell me the effect of this long period
& i am not a medical student so don't use medical term

This would be an ectopic pregnancy. The baby started to grow in her woman's fallopian tubes instead of her uterus. This is a very dangerous condition that could kill the mother. The baby would not survive as there is not a placenta to feed the baby. These are not medical terms so I hope you understand it.

I really dont beleive it is possible. The body can only hold a baby for 9 months. At 3 yers old the child would have been so big she wouldn't have been able to eat or breath. so it must have been a fictional book.

I don't think its possible. Can you imagine how big a woman would be after carrying a child for 3 years? She would stretch beyond her limits and die which is why God was good enough to set it at 9 months. This book was fiction I believe.

That's is not true because a mother would have had a huge stomach with a toddler in it. The baby would not have survive that long and I'm pretty sure the mother would have died also. Don't believe everything you read. Happy new year!!!

The thought of giving birth to a 30+ pound baby makes me cringe.

No..it's not possible. The placenta would have not provided nutrition and the baby would starve to death and start to decompose.
