Ok, we have Verizon DSL. The computer that has the wireless modem on it (the main computer) is in our study room. I bought a wireless router (just has ethernet connections) a long time ago. I was wondering if there was any way to connect my PS2 to the internet using the wireless router I have. So really what I'm asking is, is there any way to establish a connection from a wireless modem to a wireless router, and if so, how?

No, a router can not be used as a client.

I not sure I completely understand your configurations.
Do you mean to say that you have a modem from Verizon Wireless (cell phone service provider)? If so, this would not be DSL. If it is in fact DSL, then conversly it would not be wireless. Assuming wireless and not DSL, then I assume the modem is either a Cardbus card that plugs into a PCM/CIA slot or connects to the computer via USB.
Now, wireless routers typically have the following: a WAN port that a modem (cable or DSL) is plugged into, ethernet ports to plug computers into, and wireless communication for wireless enable PCS, (typically laptops). Now, this wireless is not the same as cell phone wireless. The WAN port connection is either ethernet or USB and from your description, I assume it is ethernet. If the Verizon wireless modem is USB (and I will assume that) and the WAN port of the router is ethernet, then the short answer is 'no' - the connector on the modem and on the WAN port of the router must be the same in order to plug the modem into the router (and not into the computer).
Now, the next best solution given what you have, is to plug the computer with the wireless modem into a LAN port on the router (requires ethernet in this computer) or set up wireless (802.11) on the computer (requires wireless hardware in the computer compatible with your router (802.11 a, b, g, etc). Next you will need to set up internet connection sharing on the PC with the Verizon Wireless modem to share the Verizon wireless internet with your local network connection to the router. While this is possible, it is not for the faint of heart, in my experience.
The best solution is to find a wireless router than you can plug your Verizon Wireless modem into the WAN port - this would most likely be USB. Also, you should verify that the router is compatible with the modem as cable modems and DSL modems are univerally compatible due to extensive compatiblility testing, wireless modems would not have this level of universally tested compatibility.
Disclaimer: If I have misunderstood any of your equipment details, my comments are null and void.

What you need is an ethernet to wireless bridge. It is basically an external wireless network card that has a wired ethernet port! So it 'bridges' both networks.

You will first connect the bridge to a notebook or a PC and configure it to connect to your wireless SSID. Then you will connect your PS2 to the Ethernet port on the bridge and you should be online.

There are bunch of bridges available such as:

SMC EZ CONNECT G2.4GHZ (PART ID: SMCWEBT-G)
LinkSys WET11
NetGear ME101

Just do a search on Google for Wireless Ethernet bridge and you will have plenty of choices available.
